Message to Mr. Rahul Gandhi – From the Ground Reality of Madhya Pradesh
Respected Shri Rahul Gandhi Ji,
The real strength of the Indian National Congress lies not merely in its leaders but in its ground-level workers—the booth-level warriors who carry the party flag even in the darkest times. These grassroots workers are the backbone of the party and the soul of every campaign.
However, in Madhya Pradesh, especially in regions like Khejla and Bhind, these workers are facing grave injustice. Under political pressure from the ruling party, false cases are being registered against Congress workers, who are then left to suffer alone—abandoned by the very party they risk everything for.
Senior leaders remain silent when these workers need support. Legal and social backing is rarely provided, and their families are left to fend for themselves. These workers, who should be recognized as heroes, are instead treated as liabilities. This neglect is bleeding the party from within.
I humbly urge you to direct all Pradesh and District-level Congress leaders to:
Provide legal and social protection to workers victimized by political vendettas.
Extend support to their families, who suffer silently.
Publicly recognize booth-level workers as the heroes of the party, not burdens.
If this neglect continues, leaders may remain, but the true Congress soldiers—the workers—will leave. That is why the party has lost ground consistently over the past 15 years: because it has lost its real fighters.
Congress must no longer bow to the fear of the ruling party. Instead, it must rise in honor of the loyalty and sacrifices of its grassroots workers. If not, the roots of the party will continue to rot from within.
These workers are not criminals—they are martyrs for the Congress cause. Refusing to acknowledge them is a denial of the very foundation upon which the party stands.
